Ways to import and review a document
- Paste text or a web document, or open a local Markdown, text, or HTML file in your browser. HTML files are converted locally. When the source places structured HTML on the clipboard, headings, lists, and tables are converted to Markdown.
- The Chrome extension can save a selection directly as `.md` or open a readable page body directly in reading mode and switch back to the editor when needed.
- Start with Korean or English templates for a README, AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, GEMINI.md, or GitHub Copilot instructions.
- Undo and redo recent document changes.
- Read GitHub Flavored Markdown in a focused view with an outline, active-section tracking, type controls, and print.
- Run an optional local document and writing check.
- Copy or download a UTF-8 .md, or use file sharing on supported mobile devices.
Local work runs in the browser
Meeting notes, internal documents, and instruction files can contain material that should not be sent elsewhere. Preview, document checking, and file creation therefore happen in your current browser.
Only when you need cross-device access can you sign in with ChatGPT and choose Save a copy to Cloud. Signing in alone does not upload or automatically sync the current document.
Current stage
MD.SAVE is a free public beta. We are still improving how paste, conversion, preview, and download behave across different documents and browsers.
