MD.SAVE is a lightweight browser tool for writing, previewing, and downloading clean UTF-8 Markdown files.

What can you do?

  • Paste Markdown or open a local file and edit it in your browser.
  • Undo and redo recent document changes.
  • Preview GitHub Flavored Markdown as you type.
  • Run an optional lightweight local text check.
  • Copy the result or download it as a UTF-8 .md file.

Why local-first?

Writing can be sensitive. Preview, text checking, and file creation happen inside your current browser. Your source text is not sent to the operator or an external checking service.

MD.SAVE is a free public beta for a small-scale test. We are prioritizing reliability and usability while keeping the core experience fast and focused.
